TiscaliSat is Europe's first consumer two-way, always-on, high-speed satellite Internet service.
With no special phone lines or cable modems required, TiscaliSat is the ideal solution for people in Europe who have been unable to get a broadband Internet service.
One Antenna, Two-Way:
TiscaliSat uses a single satellite dish antenna for receiving AND for sending information. No telephone connection is needed.
Always-On Access:
TiscaliSat service features always-on Internet access, with no wait to reconnect every time you want to surf the web or check e-mail. You'll stay connected to the Internet via a high-speed link as long as your computer is on.
High-Speed:
TiscaliSat downloads at speeds up to ten times faster than dial-up services. Speeds will often reach 400 kbps with targeted peak-time speeds in excess of 150 kbps. Average upload speeds range between 50 kbps and 80kbps.
Pan-European Availability:
TiscaliSat will be available virtually everywhere in Europe, so you can control your Internet access options regardless of how far away you live from the nearest telephone exchange or cable node.
